falconpunchhh: Syria. This photograph was uploaded to the internet an hour ago. I’ve been watching videos and live newsfeeds of what’s happening - bombings, shellings, murders. It upsets me so much that I want to block it off and shut off my emotions. I can do nothing to help my family or my people and it infuriates me. So this is my attempt to educate you. This is not a civil war, this is a massacre.  Spread awareness. I realize now that just because I may be aware of what’s going on, that doesn’t mean anything. It just means I hurt more. I shouldn’t have given up my attempts at spreading the word because I felt privileged and helpless. Syria is my home, my blood, my country. My family.  I should have done this a long time ago.  Zoom
